Creative Kids Playhouse Children's Theatre of Orange County

Our next graduating Senior Thespian is Paige Taino. When you watch Paige on stage, you are watching true artistry. We have had the pleasure of working with her since she was quite young, and her growth over the years has been astonishing. The detail and depth she brings to her performances is remarkably professional. Notable roles include Mother Goose in the Mother Goose Television Hour, Jack in Into the Woods, Stepmother in Rodgers and a Hammerstein’s, Cinderella, and Belle in Beauty and the Beast. Whether she is a lead or in the ensemble, she shines not only in talent, but also in her graceful and humble spirit. Though we will miss her we are excited to see what she does next, it is sure to be amazing! #ckp

We Have Moved!

CKP will now have it's official rehearsal location in Laguna Hills!

All rehearsals will now be at our new location.

We are now conveniently located off the 5 and 405 freeways next to many retailers.

“I never have to be afraid of that again!”

One fifth grade girl was terrified. She enjoyed the rehearsals, but was so scared of the idea of an audience that she asked for a very very small part. Even at dress rehearsal she asked with pleading eyes if she could drop out. I convinced her to just do the first of the three scheduled performances, and decide after that one.  She ran up to me after the final curtain of the first performance, beaming. “Mrs. Ramirez, Mrs. Ramirez, Guess what?!  I did it! And it was fun! And I never have to be afraid of that again!”  She is currently getting ready to audition for her third musical, and I’ve heard that she is hoping for the lead.
